A B2B campaign to promote businesses in the West Midlands and encourage organisations to choose regional suppliers and workers has been created by Big Cat Group.
The agency is to work in partnership with local businesses, organisations and government funded bodies as part of a consortium to deliver the objectives of campaign and also start a new era of commercial solidarity in the West Midlands.
The campaign has been developed in order to build the local economy, create more jobs, and cultivate pride in the region while also promoting the creativity and expertise of regional businesses.
A series of network events have also been organised to take place in order to encourage local businesses to promote their local products, knowledge and services will be held at venues across the Midlands.
Nick Morgan, managing director of Big Cat said: “The West Midlands is a proud region with a lot of strong businesses that rival those of Manchester and London. Buy Birmingham is a concept local people can’t afford to ignore; we all want the same thing, a successful and prosperous region. Through networking and commitments, we can start pulling ourselves out of the recession, retain more talented students, spread our services nationwide and create a region that will continue to excel for years to come.”
