In 1913 Leith docks imported 59,776 tonnes of fish and in the same year Exported 59,514 tonnes...

That’s just one of the many facts that you'll learn while eating a meal at Café Fish, a new restaurant in the heart of Leith.

StudioLR created the brand identity and graphic design for the interior and exterior of the building, including the facts.

The interior and exterior design was by Lee Boyd, transforming a traditional Leith pub into a specialist seafood restaurant retaining many original features to enhance and preserve the character of the existing building. New and reclaimed elements have been introduced to create an eclectic contemporary appearance.

Café Fish is a new enterprise by Edinburgh-born entrepreneur Richard Muir. Muir has international experience in catering and hospitality management, having run the UK corporate arm of Sodexho in which (at that time) the Gary Rhodes chain was one of it’s divisions. More recently Muir set up the Carmelite Hotel in Aberdeen.

Other StudioLR clients include British Red Cross, Fairmont St Andrews, Forth Ports, NHS, RMJM and Scottish and Southern Energy.
