AHD Imaging takes to the streets for Futuresonic film

Watch AHD Imaging's short film for Manchester arts and music festival Futuresonic, which will form a major part of the event's marketing.

The 45-second ident was originally shown at this year's Futuresonic festival, held in May, and will now be “integral” to the marketing of the 2010 event, which is being re-branded as FutureEverything.

“Due to the timeless nature of the design it will be a useful marketing tool to reflect our changing brand into FutureEverything later this year,” said Drew Hemment, founder and artistic director of Futuresonic.

Shot in Manchester, it features a giant Futuresonic logo – which was originally created by Kiosk Design – moving throughout the cityscape.

Tony Hartley-Denton, MD of Manchester-based AHD Imaging, said: “The brief was to ensure that the ident would have a timeless appeal to maximise its marketing opportunities and we feel that this has been achieved successfully and without compromising creativity.”
