A campaign to promote The Camping and Caravanning Club aimed at first time campers has been developed by The Black Hole.

The marketing campaign includes press ads and web pages as well as radio ads inviting first time campers to ‘Unzip your best holiday ever’.

As The Club’s main acquisition activity this year, the campaign is aimed at a young family audience, prompting them to visit a dedicated ‘New to camping’ section on The Club’s website will also give the visitor useful information on getting the most from a camping holiday.

Philip Crick, managing director of The Black Hole said: “A compelling message was vital to this campaign, and our previous work on The Club’s new proposition and identity gave us the necessary insights to develop both the strong message and creative to deliver the website traffic and enquiries The Club is looking for.”

What is the compelling message (which is vital) please?
We have a very bland looking ad' (not keen on the colours) and 4 people on bikes. Apart from the very clever use of a zip, where is the camping bit??
