Clothing brand Henri Lloyd has appointed Cheshire-based Origin to market its new range of clothes for the high-flying Brawn GP Formula 1 team.

The Brawn team, which is leading Formula 1 thanks to the exploits of British driver Jenson Button, is sponsored by Henri Lloyd and the clothing firm agreed a deal to become its official supplier of clothing and footwear in March.

Cheshire-based Origin will design a flagship brochure and create a lifestyle advertising campaign, integrated merchandise and retail support materials for the clothing range. The win follows a competitive pitch in April.

Along with the Brawn work, Manchester-based Henri Lloyd has also awarded its UK retail account to Origin.

The agency will be responsible for designing and branding promotional campaigns in-store and providing retail support for Henri Lloyd's UK retail outlets.

Mark Bottomley, creative director at Origin, said: “We’re speechless. It’s rare that an opportunity arises to work with either of these fantastic brands.”
