Cheshire agency Driven has hired former DLKW and TBWA\London copywriter Paula Marcantonio as a senior creative.

Marcantonio, who trained under Trevor Beattie, has worked on brands including Cadbury's, Adidas and Vauxhall and has four D&AD Pencils and 2 Cannes Lions Grand Prix prizes to her name.

She was one of the creative minds behind Sony Playstation's award-winning 'Mountain' ad.

"There is a great energy at Driven and I’m looking forward to contributing to that and doing some great work," she said of her move north.

Chris Lear, partner at Driven (pictured with Marcantonio), said: "Paula is recognised in London as a very talented creative and we are thrilled that she has chosen to join us as Driven. The appointment is a demonstration of our drive to create outstanding work.”

Driven's clients include Crown Paints, Jameson Whiskey and Dare2b. The agency recently unveiled its new television campaign for Vimto.
