Frame enters staff consultation period following Subway loss

Following the loss of the national £10m Subway account, Frame has entered a consultation period with its members of staff.

At the moment it is unclear as to how many staff at the Glasgow based agency would be involved with the process.

Gary O’Donnell, commercial director at Frame was pragmatic about the agency entering into the consultation process.

“Ours is a business of a certain size and when you lose a big piece of business like Subway, it is inevitable that the shape and size of the business will change as a consequence. This is just the way of the world in which we work and it’s part and parcel of agency life. You win clients and you lose clients.

“At the moment there is a legal consultation taking place and it would be wholly inappropriate to comment on that except to say that we’re handling it with the professionalism and sensitivity you’d expect and it deserves. Frame has always been about the people who work here, and the management team at the agency takes its responsibilities in respect of that really seriously.”

Despite losing the national account, Frame will continue to work with Subway regionally.

O’Donnell concluded: “No one should lose sight of the fact that we have an absolutely terrific client list that still includes Subway. We’re going to focus on that.”

Very sorry to hear this. A great agency with a great front team in Gary, Angus and co. I'm confident frame will bounce back from this though. Already looks like you are producing great work for ScotGov.

Best of luck taking things forward this year and 2010
