Banff and Buchan College has appointed Crombie to design its prospectus for the seventh consecutive year.

The Edinburgh based design agency won a five way pitch which included student focus groups voting for the top creative submission, which Crombie won with the theme ‘apps for life’ which adopts the iPhone and its icons to highlight the courses at the college and their relevance to industries.

Suzanne Wood, account director explained: “The document sees a real break in
tradition and moves from an A4 to a smaller, more pocket friendly A5 format.”

A prospectus that's not A4, ground-breaking. And stealing Apple concepts and styling is a shabby, cheap way to connect with students.

And I don't actually think loyalty comes into it Victor when five are asked to pitch and everyone including Groundsman Willy gets a vote in what's picked...

Congratulations to Banff and Buchan for NOT appointing a roster of 76 agencies to handle £100 worth of work between them.

You'd think so yes.

However judging by (some of) these comments someone is obviously bitter and twisted.

Well done Crombie, who are naturally way too busy to respond.

Seven years on the trot! Surely some kind of record in loyalty-free client Scotland? Well done chaps.
