BrightHouse has tasked The Walker Agency with creating a new set of idents for its sponsorship of long running Auzzie soap Home and Away on Five.
Brighthouse had, until recently been the sponsor for Tisha on Five.
Due to that programme coming to an end, the company chose to take on another sponsorship opportunity with the terrestrial channel.
Media company AMS secured the deal for BrightHouse to sponsor Home and Away instead.
The idents feature the ongoing story of Jules and Mand, who also featured in the campaign for the sponsorship of Trisha and will developed over a 12 month period where Jules will jet off to Australia, fall in love and eventually bring home her new man.
Production of the adverts was handled by The Gate, and were directed by Dave Mills.
Martin Walker, managing director of The Walker Agency, commented: “The sponsorship is ideal for their predominantly younger female audience, and allows us to feature scenarios and products across their wide range of household and personal products, from mobile phones to washing machines.”
The Walker agency has worked with BrightHouse for nearly five years having also producrf TV ads, press campaigns for store openings and more recently, web design and build .

Love to know what the agency said when the client asked how much it would cost -
"Well, it's £XXk, but if you spread it over 3 years at 29.9%..." :)
Simple. Message conveyed. Just what you want from an ident.
Message conveyed isn't the same as message received. And if I was the client I'd want my funny idents to be funny. That would help no end with the message received bit.
