Scotsman.com launches new jobs site with Jobsite

Scotsman.com has announced today that Jobsite has been appointed as its official online recruitment partner for its new Scottish recruitment site, scotsman.com/jobs.

The appointment sees Jobsite combine with the reach of Scotsman.com and Johnston Press’ newspaper and website portfolio across Scotland.

In addition to Scotsman.com/jobs, Jobsite will power the recruitment platforms for all of Johnston Press’ Scottish websites, which attract circa 2.7m unique users per month.

Scotsman.com/jobs will provide clients with the opportunity to cross-post their vacancies onto Jobsite.  Those clients using Scotsman.com’s CV Match service will now also have relevant CVs from Jobsite’s searchable CV database included in this service.

Michael Johnston, divisional managing director, Johnston Press Scotland, commented: ‘We are very excited about the opportunity Scotsman.com/jobs gives us to fully leverage our strengths in the Scottish recruitment market. Partnering with Jobsite brings a great opportunity to further improve the strength of our online job boards and bring even more local jobs to jobseekers. This partnership complements our print and online recruitment service already enjoyed by hundreds of recruiters.”

Keith Potts, Jobsite CEO, added: "The Scotsman brand is a market leader in Scotland and is both highly respected and trusted. Partnering with them to power their new online recruitment site is a fantastic opportunity as it enables us to further strengthen our presence in Scotland, which is a key recruitment market featuring many of the major UK employers."
