Leeds PR consultancy Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger has appointed Nathan Lane, managing director of Golley Slater PR in Birmingham, as its new MD.

Slater spent four years at Golley Slater, where he was responsible for national and regional business-to-business and consumer clients including the Army, Skoda, Yorkshire Bank and West Bromwich Building Society.

He is originally from Leeds and before moving to the Midlands held a senior role at Brahm, with a focus on business-to-business, automotive and regeneration clients.

“I join a truly talented team at Ptarmigan that has proven over the years that they can create campaigns that get people talking and deliver commercial impact," Slater said.

"As part of Bell Pottinger, a global communications agency, we have access to resources that will serve all our clients well and underpin our growth," he added.

Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger was formed in March when Bell Pottinger North acquired part of the Ptarmigan Consultants business.
