Soft drinks brand Ben Shaws has been rebranded by The Individual Agency.
The Huddersfield-based-agency was appointed earlier in the year to re-establish the brand across new packaging and to create of a consumer microsite in a bid to win back old fans and appeal to new customers.
The new packaging features genuine old photographs from the Ben Shaws archives, and tapping into the current trend for nostalgia within the sector the colours and design cues are reminiscent of ‘the good old days’, reminding consumers of a time when life was carefree and fun.
Tracey Owens, client services director, explained: “A key objective was to retain the traditional visual cues we know consumers love and remember the brand for whilst looking to create a new generation of Ben Shaws fans that will also love the brand for years to come and it’s been a great brand story to execute through design."

Maybe you should have gone back to the diamond shaped branding that Ben Shaws used to have on the bottles. Having grown up with the brand, once even working in the factory some years ago, this doesn't remind me of the good old days, just of already done before branding concepts.
