Search.co.uk has agreed a deal with Real Radio in Scotland to launch a jobs portal on the station's website.

Real Radio says the 'Real Jobs' portal could bring vacancies across Scotland to the attention of more than 700,000 weekly listeners and visitors to the website.

Billy Anderson, managing director of Real Radio, said it was a service the station had wanted to offer for some time.

"This partnership allows us to create an instant jobs resource for our listeners and to widen our offering to include first class career vacancies across the whole spectrum of the Scottish population that we serve," Anderson said.

The Real Jobs portal will provide access to around 1,500 Scottish employer vacancies across a wide range of industry sectors.

The vacancies will also be promoted on-air via a ‘Real Jobs’ feature.

Peter Gillespie, MD of search.co.uk, said: “I am obviously delighted to confirm this deal with Real Radio and a new partnership approach that provides benefits for both of us.
