Carnegie Weight Management has appointed Brahm to promote its residential and day camp weight loss programmes for children.

The PR campaign will run until September and focus on managing the national media  activity around the sensitive subject of obesity.

Based at Leeds Metropolitan University since its inception in 1999, the Carnegie Weight Management programme has attracted over 5,000 young people aged 5 to 17 from all over the world including Kuwait, Spain, Nigeria and Bahrain.

Its work has attracted media coverage from GMTV, BBC Breakfast, and The Independent among others.

Tim Downs, head of PR at Brahm, said: "Initial media interest in the campaign is testament to the great results Carnegie Weight Management has achieved in the past 10 years but also helps to highlight the importance of the various initiatives they have in place for the future”.
