I'm sorry, but am I the only one that doesn't get the connection between the 1940s cinema still and Highland Spring water? Also, the LOVE theme. I don't associate LOVE with water. Hydrating my body, maybe. Were these ads bought off istock with a two arrows saying 'Place logo and pack shot here and here'

starting any comment with "i'm sorry' automatically puts you in the 'muppet' category. Now be quiet you chimp. At least i've seen this stuff running unlike most of the other award nominations.

So by the definitition stated neither the Guiness surfers ad or Cadburys gorilla ad would ever have seen the light of day. Nor would any other ad that didn't have a literal connection to what was being advertised.

Why don't you grow up a bit and stop the disingenous act just to have a pop at other peoples creative.
Or are you just touting for a bit of new biz?

Guiness Horses, Cadbury's - are you being serious? This campaign is sunday league at best, and even then that's being generous.

Learn to spell if you're going to have a go. You just sound desperate and unemployed.

I believe Mark Denton loved it. That carries a little more weight than the turkey sitting at home in semen spattered pajamas hiding behind an anonymous.

This campaign creates distinctive association with films we all know and love.
Job done.
Monkey does look as if he was expecting something a bit stronger though.

It doesn't matter if you like the ad or not.

The fact is more people are discussing this piece of work than anything else on here so it's doing the most important thing any piece of communication can do and that's get noticed so I'd say 'job done'.

The expression is "hear, hear", not "here, here". Unless you're looking for someone to throw you a fish.

Who is Ray Doyle? Is it some kind of pseudonym because everything I read by you is just poison? I can't imagine anyone wanting to put their real name to anything you say. 'Dry clean your PJs' Ha ha! I'm just guessing, but did you have something to do with the Highland Spring ads above?

Try not to confuse Ray Doyle with Radox.
It would be a bath that neither of you would ever forget.

This trail is easily the most 'random' load of old bollocks, even by The Drum's wacky 'Comments' standards. I think I may well change my name to Albert Non. I will then be able to stick my brain in neutral, reply and get involved in all these battles of wits with unarmed people. I can get my 8 year-old son to do some of them, when it gets too puerile, even for me. Come on all you Anons out there, give us something we understand, so we can get involved. This is all too 'in' for all us other ad monkies to get involved with!
