Fifth Ring has strengthened its digital and brand & strategy development teams in Aberdeen.

William Binnie joins as service unit manager for digital media and marketing, whilst Denise Davies, who has joined from Fifth Ring’s Dubai office, has been appointed as senior relationship manager.

Binnie has provided technical solutions for a wide range of both local and international clients. Commenting on his new appointment, he said: “It is an exciting time to be joining the company and I am looking forward to managing the team and working with a number of exciting clients. I am also looking forward to working for an international company and with Fifth Ring’s excellent client portfolio."

In her new role, Denise, who is the first Fifth Ring employee to make an inter-office move, will support both business development and brand and strategy development, where she will play an important role actively managing client accounts. Joining at a time where Fifth Ring has recently made a number of new contract wins, Denise hopes to build on the company’s success.

Davies said: “Having worked for Fifth Ring for three years in Dubai, I feel I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge and I look forward to the new challenges ahead.”

Fifth Ring now employs 70 people across its Aberdeen, Inverness, Dubai and Houston offices.

Service Unit Manager?! What a fabulously un-advertising title that is. After reading about Binnie's technical solutions for clients I'm still none the wiser as to what Billy does. Now if there was ever a debate as to what constitutes news on this site I'd say this is the most non-news news story ever to appear. Two people get a job. Is it a bank holiday or something?

Agree with the writer, what a lot of tosh. For a company that considers it is a player in PR perhaps they should learn what a news story is ! Service Unit Manager, the last time that title was used was by a Hotpoint engineer ! My company hired 4 new people last month that must be a front page story ! C' mon wise up !

Good grief, It is totally out of order to post personal comments about how people LOOK?

I’m presuming the reason there’s so little Advertising being posted is because of this pathetic behavior.

And then to hide like sniggering school kids behind an anonymous posting.

Sorry fifth not everybody in our industry is a rude twat. Good luck to you both.
