Glasgow design firm 0141 has created the designs for charity auction Lunch With An Old Bag, in aid of Prince's Trust Scotland.

Prince’s Trust Scotland is to host an event in Edinburgh, which hopes to bring together some of Scotland’s leading women, to raise money for charity.

Lunch With an Old Bag will take place at Edinburgh’s Prestonfield House with bidding on a selection of designer, vintage and celebrity handbags donated by some well-heeled, well-connected and most importantly, well-dressed individuals.

Donations for the auction range from Sienna Miller's Union Jack bag to a Lulu Guinness bag donated by the designer. However it’s not just girls that have got in on the act and Chris Hoy's Beijing Olympics bag and Andy Murray's tennis kit bag are also up for grabs.

To help the lunching ladies review the goods going under the hammer, Glasgow web agency 0141 Design has created the brochure for the event free of charge.

Mariusz Kozinski, director at 0141 Design, said: “As a business we have supported the Prince’s Trust for a long time and were delighted to design the glossy brochure for the lunch. I would have donated one of my own sports bags, but I don’t think it would have had quite the same appeal as those given by Chris Hoy and Andy Murray.”

The event was dreamt up by James Thomson who is a patron of the Prince’s Trust. The successful entrepreneur not only runs Prestonfield House, but also Edinburgh’s iconic eatery, The Witchery.

The keynote speaker for the afternoon is broadcaster Dame Joan Bakewell who was appointed by the Government in 2008 as a voice to represent the views of the UK’s more senior citizens.

Dame Joan Bakewell. So it's actually Lunch with an Old Tart?!

Don't think the illustration style sits well with the name of the event darling.

Dreadful, clip art at its worst. Here's an idea - two wee old wifey's, big heavy coats, wee grubby cafe with top designer bags. Total time taken approx...11 seconds, 10 seconds longer than that effort

I wonder if the sports bag donated by Mariusz was an original AT Mays in-flight holdall. It would match the illustration for carbon dating.
