Mind, the mental health charity, has launched a new website created by digital agency tictoc.

The site provides comprehensive information about over 150 mental health conditions and topics, and an online shop which stocks information booklets and publications that support the charity’s work.

A blog section features entries from the charity's chief executive, other members of staff and guest bloggers. The blogs address controversial issues aimed at generating comments and feedback.

The site also offers visitors links to the charity’s Facebook and Twitter pages, where they can show support and keep up with what the charity is doing.

As well as the website, Glasgow-based tictoc has developed an extranet to help Mind’s local associations communicate with each other, and an intranet for Mind staff to share documents and information.

Paul Farmer, chief executive of Mind, said: “We are delighted that the new site is up and running and hope that people will benefit from accessing everything it has to offer.

"It offers a wealth of resources, with useful information on a wide range of mental health topics. I’m particularly excited about the blog too and hope that people get involved by leaving comments and taking part in the debate."
