The Mob signs commercials director Richard OliverThe Mob Film Company has exclusively signed Silver Films' Richard Oliver as a commercials director.
Silver will continue to work on Oliver's feature film interests, but representation and production of his commercial work has been handed over to The Mob, which has offices in Manchester and London.
Oliver joined Silver, which also works out of Manchester and London, in 2006 and has directed ads for Lexus and Toyota. He was recently a finalist in the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival for his film Gardens with Red Roses.
Mark Collins, head of production at The Mob, said: "I've worked with Richard in the past and have had a keen eye on his work. He has an ability to effortlessly combine live action, performance and beautiful cinematography.
"I'm delighted that we've been able to join forces with Richard and look forward to shooting his first Mob production."
