Origin has again been appointed to promote the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair following its award-winning campaign for the event last year.

The fair, which takes place in October, has this year expanded with funding from The Arts Council and National Lottery. It will boast works from 140 of the most talented designer-makers in the UK at a new venue in Spinningfields, Manchester's business quarter.

Last year, Cheshire-based Origin created an integrated through the line campaign encompassing advertising, literature, web and wayfinding to promote the fair.

The agency's work won a silver award in the best poster category at the Roses Design Awards.

Mark Bottomley, Origin’s MD, said: “It’s fantastic to be working with the Craft Fair once more. Following the success of last year’s event, we’re only too happy to be linking up with them again – even more so given their fantastic new surroundings.”
