This Friday Code Computerlove is raising money for Action for Children by sleeping rough on the streets of Manchester.

But to help to reach its sponsorship target the team has also arranged some events from 12:00noon at Ducie House (Code’s extended Creative Hub) tomorrow (2 October).

Jumble Sale (Books, CDs, DVDs, Raffle and some Code memorabilia, the founders’ sacred games consoles – keep an eye out on Twitter for photos); Soup Kitchen and Bake Sale; and Code Games – WII fun and Watch Challenge Col live @ 1pm.

Tony Foggett, CEO of Code said: "Boy have we collected some junk through out the last 10 years, we are giving up some of our prized retro collection, such as a Commodore 64 (plus printer and disc drive!), there is all the usual jumble sale stuff that has been donated such as books, toys, as well as plenty of oddness – three unicycles, pink fluffy handcuffs (boxed and un- used); we are even selling the Code Nativity scene. On top of this the Code baking machine is in action as well as lunch in the form of our soup kitchen."

If you can't make it down to Ducie House, dig deep, follow the fun on Twitter for updates, and for more information on ByteNite go too www.bytenight.org.uk.
