Uber creates new packaging for Greencore's Foo-Go

The re-design of FMCG company Greencore’s sandwich brand Foo-Go has been created by Uber.

The new packaging design was launched in September and is available in all WH Smith outlets in train stations and airports across the country as well as selected food stores.

Richard Esau, head of marketing for Greencore, said: “The new, confident look for the brand will help it to stand out from the crowd and emphasises the premium quality of the product."

A nice fresh look at what can be an otherwise boring subject, well done to those involved

We should be designing packaging with the minimum amount of material so the government hasn't got an excuse to build and incinerator on every street. We all know the problem is making the offering 'stand out' but we should be real designers and place the sandwich in a multi-container that shouts the logo and sandwich type so the take away material is minimal. Foo-go would save a packet on material costs and the earth.
