The former acting MD of Brazen Rick Guttridge is leaving the Manchester PR agency while Gary Bramwell and Peter Burling have been promoted to its board.

Guttridge, most recently Brazen's associate group director, stepped into the managing director role when the agency's owner Nina Webb was on maternity leave. In a statement announcing the changes Brazen insisted he is leaving on good terms.

Bramwell, who has been with the the firm since 2001, was previously creative director and is stepping up to the role of deputy MD, although he will continue to be responsible for the agency's creative output.

Associate group director Burling, who joined Brazen in 2002, will take on the role of client services director.

"Gary and Peter have both earned their elevation to the board, and will have a major part to play in Brazen’s next phase of growth," Webb said.
