Fluid Creativity has promoted Wayne Silcock to creative director after four years working at the agency.

Silcock has been promoted to the newly created role having joined the agency in 2005 as a junior graphic designer from Salford University.

Lee Turner, managing director of Fluid Creativity, explained to The Drum that the move was made as the agency looked to grow its business and become an industry leader, and that it is the first appointment in the development of a new management structure.

“We are looking at building director level roles through out the business itself, essentially the key areas of our business are search and creative so these key areas will their own associated director,” added Turner.

Silcock, added: “This new appointment allows me to take an overhead view of the business as a whole, and drive the studio forward over the next year.”

4 years and he's a CD? And straight from uni? I evidently joined the wrong agency. How old are the creatives he's directing?
