The Drum has learned that Numiko has been retained by ITV to develop the website for this year’s season of ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’.

The Leeds-based digital agency was unable to reveal what features would be developed for this year’s site but did reveal that it would have an increased focus on social activity which would make this year’s series more of a multi-platform event.

Darren Navier, creative director for Numiko, said: "We were honoured enough to be commissioned for last years season and I think this re-commissioning proves what a good job we did. As well as awards and commendations, the site did 'business' for ITV and we are aiming for even better results this year. The 'I'm a Celebrity...' brand is one of the biggest in the UK, and I think that's what Numiko have proved we are specialists in - making brands more engaging online."
