Travel South Yorkshire has moved to expand its marketing activity as it looks to integrate its information service to passengers by bringing in Rippleffect to create an e-marketing campaign.
The Liverpool-digital agency will look to reach consumers through email to communication the range of train, bus and tram details from the company following the launch of a similar service in January which provided bus and tram commuters with instant timetable and schedule changes which was also handled by Rippleffect.
Alec Woolford, technical director at Rippleffect, said: “Extending the system to incorporate rail travel allows Travel South Yorkshire to provide a more holistic and convenient customer experience.
“The integrated system which is complemented by an email marketing function provides users with up to the minute information on travel times and changes, as well as information on latest developments, discounts and incentives.”
