Brand communications agency 23red has appointed Alan Gardiner as deputy managing director for its regional operations in Nottingham and Bristol.

Gardiner joins 23red Regions from the Tangible Group agency Resonate and he will work on accounts with the Child Workforce Development Council and the Arts Council.

Before Resonate, Gardiner was the founding partner of marketing consultancy VIPR - which has offices in the UK and Australia - and he led an MBO of its Glasgow office.
