Lubricant brand WD-40 has appointed Connect PR to handle its PR through out the UK having won the six-figure the account in a pitch featuring several London agencies.
The Wolverhampton-based PR agency will also be charged with raising the profile of the sister brand, 3-IN-ONE, while also targetting tradesmen and DIY specialists with information about the 2000 and more ways in which WD-40 can be used around the home and professionally.
Connect has already negotiated a sports sponsorship deal with darts player James ‘The Machine’ Wade and will handle all PR around this during the year-long deal.
