Birmingham-based creative agency Big Cat Group has been appointed as the UK territory partners for the educational ‘Bodies Revealed’ exhibition.

BigCat has been working alongside Premier Exhibition, Inc and S2BN Entertainment to deliver the event management & logistics, PR, creative design and marketing as well as the social media for the exhibition.

Bodies Revealed features real, whole and partial body specimens that have been dissected and preserved, giving visitors the opportunity to view the complexity of their own organs and systems.

The exhibition takes visitors through galleries providing an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory and other systems of the human body. Many of the whole body specimens are dissected in vivid athletic poses, allowing the visitor to relate to everyday activities.

BigCat has been chosen by Premier exhibitions and S2BN Entertainment to handle all aspects of the exhibition from instillation and co-ordination of the event to the promotion and design of the event collateral. The exhibition will run until the 30 January 2010.

Anthony Tattum, marketing director at Big Cat Group said: “We are delighted to be involved with the successful opening of the world renowned Bodies Revealed exhibition. Birmingham is already a major events city in the UK but it’s time we started gaining more recognition. The international profile of Bodies Revealed will deepen the stamp the Custard Factory and the Birmingham events industry has on the international map.’

Great to see an event of this stature appear in Birmingham, rather than going straight to London or Manchester. Despite any controversy surrounding these types of exhibition (Bodies Revealed / Bodyworlds) nobody can deny their educational value.
