Send us your creative Spotify playlist

Send us your creative Spotify playlistSend us your creative Spotify playlist

Do you design to Depeche Mode? Do you gyrate as you illustrate? If you Photoshop while listening to hip hop then we want to hear about your creative Spotify list

The Drum is now inviting all creative departments to go online and create a 15-song Spotify playlist of songs that you feel inspires your team and encapsulates the feeling and atmosphere of working in your creative environment. To see your agency's playlist featured in The Drum and online simply create your playlist and email its to us along with the name of your playlist and the HTTP link, which will enable other agencies to link directly to your list and listen to what inspires you. Also, if you could send us 100 words outlining what your playlist says about your agency that would be appreciated. The most creative/funniest playlists will be featured in the next issue of The Drum magazine and featured online at www.thedrum.co.uk. Send your Spotify list and the HTTP link to The Drum by clicking here.

Yes, the PRS would love to know what you broadcast.

I don't think Drum are going to broadcast anything, they are just pointing people to Spotify to listen to playlists. Good news for Spotify if you ask me and a decent idea so stop sniping.

Why would they? Spotify pays artists each time they are played and it's completely legal.

Whether you're playing to the office from Spotify, iTunes, the radio... the PRS say you need to pay up. Less of the 'idiots' please.

I run a business and I pay PRS so I can play/broadcast the radio and CDs to my customers. How does this differ exactly? Spotify pay PRS fees so their users can listen to music. I'm sure some businesses use Spotify to play/broadcast music to their customers.

Even a gentle news piece like this gets a hugely negative response. Bizarre.

"Why don't we ask everyone about their Spotify playlists? At least the grumpy sods can't argue about that..."
