An Agency Called England has launched a new website for Lamb’s Spiced Rum, which is distributed in the UK by drinks firm Halewood International.
The new Lamb’s Spiced Rum website targets a younger demographic of 25-35 year-old men and women, as opposed to the core consumer base of 45+ men for Lamb’s Navy Rum.
The website looks to convey "a sense of the exotic and tropical nature of the product", and contrasts with the more conventional executions of the brands in the market.
Tony Stanton, England’s CEO, explained: “Many people don’t actually know how to best enjoy Lamb’s Spiced Rum, and the new website conveys the perfect serve and different ways to enjoy Lamb’s Spiced Rum via interactive videos.”

Great photography, a very appealing website. I think it suits the demographic perfectly. Great work from england!
Nice site, but i'm not sure i agree that the photography is great. The gallery has some nice work, but the product shots look a little rough round the edges.
Nothing to do with England but i have never understood why you have the age selection at the beginning of sites like this, would people under the age not just lie?
Hey Guy,
In terms of the age selection, it's just a regulatory measure. It does seem a little pointless, I do agree, but it is mandatory. I guess when computers have "age based" swipe cards, then you'll get access to all sorts of exclusive content.
In terms of the photography, I like that it's real and refreshing. I like that you get the impression that making the drink is achievable. Nothing worse that those sites that have ingredient selections that you'll never have in your fridge. I do agree that the limes could have some added some colour, but overall, a great effort... With more to come!
Hey Pat,
Like the idea of age swipe cards. I see what your saying about the photography, i think just a little more attention to the photos and it would been a great site.
Look forward to the coming soon bits.
Anon 16:40,
I'm not quite as crusty...

If they want it built, we'll certainly oblige. If the Scottish can do English work, then I'm certain the English can do Scottish work... ;))
