Marketing Birmingham launches 'Dam to the 'Ham game

Marketing Birmingham has launched a new viral game to encourage visitors from Amsterdam to come to the city as part of a wider international airlines campaign.

Created by TAMBA, the 'Dam to the 'Ham game tests players' abilities to navigate the canals of Birmingham and Amsterdam picking up and dropping off passengers as they go.

TAMBA picked up the brief after a three-way pitch. Kay Hammond, the agency's CEO, said: "We were delighted to win this brief from Marketing Birmingham. The campaign is a simple ‘coffee break’ game that will keep Birmingham front of mind as a key destination for a city break and we’re looking forward to seeing excellent results from it.
