Leeds advertising and design firm the Thinking Agency has gone into liquidation, The Drum understands.
The agency, previously known as Clarendon Advertising, was put into voluntary liquidation, according to information obtained from Companies House.
It is thought the firm employed no more than 10 staff at its Pickering Street base and it had previously worked with Leeds City Council, Keele University and Reckitt Benckiser.
Although the agency's website is still live its domain name appears to have changed to wearebluestone.co.uk, hinting at the rise of a possible phoenix agency.

Sounds familiar. Isn't Curious Group's new web url wearebourne??!
Well, glad that's cleared up, thanks Dan
Maybe a bit more 'doing' and a bit less 'thinking' would have kept them going...
12.51 - exactly
It's always sad when an agency goes, but have you seen any of their work.
I'm suprised it's taken so long.
Ouch!
It's always bad news when a long established agency goes bust and the comments "Maybe a bit more 'doing' and a bit less 'thinking' would have kept them going..." and "No great loss there then" are clearly the type of comments from idiots, well done!
Clarendon, as was, used to be a reasonable 'feeder' agency. You spent about 18 months there from college learned as much as you could and then moved on to something bigger and definitely better. I think former Creative Director (that takes guts to own up to that) Jon's '5k budget' comment sums up what the Thinking agency was about.
Buy Curious, anyone?

It's always tragic news when an agency folds, but when its one that has been part of the landscape for fifty years, it becomes even sadder. Although I never worked for Clarendon/Bradshaw&Allwood/Thinking Agency I did have the pleasure of meeting some of the people involved over the years and hiring one or two of them. I will also always owe a debt of gratitude that in my embryo days in the profession they did some space bookings for me. I wish all those involved at the end good luck for the future.
