Ben Cochrane, account manager at Family in Edinburgh is set to leave having landed a job at 180 in Amsterdam.

Cochrane joined Family in May 2007 having previously starred in long running Channel 4 reality TV show, Shipwrecked.

Ian Wright, managing director of Family, wished Cochrane luck in his new role which will see him work on accounts for Adidas football and all the World Cup campaign work.
"I'm disappointed we're losing a real talent, however I'm delighted for Ben. It really is a career changing move for him.I think it says a lot about family and the talent that we grow that 180 have taken Ben on, when they are spoilt for choice from around the world," added Wright.

"We wish him all the best and at least we know where our next away day is going to be," he added.

Agreed Will.
The whole industry, and from down here it seems Scotland in particular, is surrounded by negativity.
There are some great things happening in what are tough times.
Ben's move is one of them and continues the great tradition of Scottish agencies producing and nurturing talent.
I say good luck to him and well done Family. I remember the first day he joined when he was just that bloke off 'Ship wrecked'. The boy's done good.
And Family are continuing to do good.
What's the matter with you people?
