Outdoor clothing company Berghaus has launched a campaign to promote its Autumn/Winter range to international marketing, created by Different.

The Newcastle-agency has been appointed to create a range of marketing tools which will be rolled out across the client’s EMEA markets to launch its new Mountain product range.

As a result, Different has created an integrated marketing campaign which will be aimed at experienced mountaineers and serious outdoor enthusiasts, encompassing on and offline advertising, consumer inserts, brochures and PR as well as in-store staff training aids, staff literature and point of sale and window displays.

Michael Hynes, associate board director at Different, said: “Berghaus is a very important client for Different. There is a huge buzz within the agency as a result of working on the UK’s leading outdoor brand and assisting with the development and launch of their new Mountain product range across Europe which has been a great success.”

Gavin Burns, international marketing manager at Berghaus, added: “This highly technical performance clothing range is designed for the experienced, all year-round mountaineer. Early feedback shows the campaign has been well received by retailers across EMEA regions and we hope that it is a similar success in the UK.”

The headline deserves a gold in the Hoary Old Chestnut category. Art direction might scrape a silver in Best Use of a Badly Retouched Stock Shot. Nice.
