Tonight will see the best Tweeters being recognised at the First Golden Twits awards which will take place in London nightclub Fabric.

The event will be streamed live on The Drum’s website tonight from 7.30pm with comedian Phil Nicol also set to entertain ahead of the winners being announced.

In-keeping with the tradition of Twitter, all acceptance speeches will be limited to 140 characters, so no gushing speeches thanking mothers and fathers are expected…or will at least be mercifully short in length.
