Ocean Terminal launches Christmas Campaign

Edinburgh shopping centre Ocean Terminal has launched a new branding and marketing campaign.

The campaign has been devised by Glasgow agency Jam Hot alongside a TV advert from STV Creative. Jam Hot worked with the centre to devise how to best develop awareness of the centre’s brands while including an underwater theme.

The print campaign is also currently running through out Edinburgh.

Michelle Macleod, deputy centre manager for Ocean Terminal, said: “We feel the centre’s new branding is more in theme with Ocean Terminal than ever before. We hope the strong signage featuring our brands will re-enforce to shopper’s the quality shops we have on offer in the centre, which on the water of Leith, is arguably offering the most idyllic location to come and enjoy getting your Christmas shopping.”

The idyllic Water of Leith... does a Princess really live underneath Ocean Terminal?

Must be cold down there this time of year.

its a shopping centre. with shops.it's not magic. It is a classic example of direct advertisers using a media owner to make an ad.' Now thats Magic..'

"its a shopping centre. with shops. it's not magic."

Now that's line that would drive the shoppers there over Christmas...

I like the ad. The highly stylised look is a nice break from the usual 'happy family with shopping bags smile a lot' ads. This is memorable.

visually it's nice and I agree that it is a break from the norm - crikey 2 shopping centre campaigns in one week that aren't utter formulaic tosh are clients starting to actually listen to their agencies?

Head and shoulders above the majority of no budget, no idea, shopping centre ads that appeared over the weekend.
