The Marketing Industry Network is set to host a panel discussion on The Future of Scottish Broadcasting.

Richard Draycott, editor of The Drum who will be joined on the panel by Atholl Duncan head of news and current affairs for BBC Scotland and Bobby Hain director of broadcasting and regulatory affairs at STV  to review the state of Scottish broadcasting as it experiences a state of transition with the rise of digital.

The panel will discuss the trials and tribulations being experienced by Scottish broadcasting as well as looking at how it can develop in the future.
 

The event will take place between 8.30am-10.30am on Thursday 17 December 2009in the BBC Scotland studios, 3rd floor Studio, 40 Pacific Quay G51 1DA

How about some decent content? call me old fashioned, but you're supposed to be a TV station that should have things to watch. Not old Bond movies.

No True Blood but they do have; Lorraine Kelly the 5 o Clock Show and some panto dame flouncing around the hills telling us about Scotlaaaandsss's Hiiiistory. Beat that.
