Leicster-headquartered agency Sheridan&Co is launching Insight – an experimental retail space in London for pop-up shops, product launches and trials by brands and retailers.

Insight opens its central London doors for the first time with a pop-up shop to launch a new luxury hand luggage brand Moncrief.

Located just off Marylebone High Street, Insight aims to give brands and retailers a flexible platform to experiment in a real retail environment with how they present themselves to their customers. Brands and retailers will be able to use the 70sqm store for a length of time which suits them.

Clients will also be able to use Sheridan&Co for brand strategy, retail design, present and future technology, and retail installation.

The agency plans Insight to be used in a variety of ways: as a test site for full prototype store design; as a temporary pop up store to drive sales; to trial new point of purchase display or to host experiential events.

The venue will create a platform for brands to try out conceptual offers to customers in an environment that can be tested, examined and modified for the impact on sales, customer demographic and other variables.

Michael Sheridan, CEO of Sheridan&Co, said: “Pop-up retailing is becoming increasingly valuable to brands in pushing sales and in delivering insight to brands. It generates awareness amongst consumers and provides brands with a unique stage as and when they have something to say.

“Insight gives us a space to flex our creative muscles, but also to measure the effectiveness of these more experimental ideas in a controlled space. It also puts us closer to the consumer than any other retail design agency in the UK.”

Moncrief is a new brand of British-designed, contemporary hand luggage handmade in Milan. Moncrief is being launched by Caroline Evans, the co-founder and creative force behind Jigsaw and the creative director for the development of the Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch. Her own label ranges have been sold by Harvey Nichols, Joseph and Liberty.
