The Hôme marketing group has acquired Chilli UK - taking its collective turnover to over £9million and its number of employees to 70.
The group already includes social media agency Hômejames, web development and build agency Hômepage, point of sale display specialists The Solution House and main advertising agency Hôme.
Chilli UK’s client list includes McVities, Butterkist, Denby, Lakeland and Skinny Cow from packaging and point of sale to literature.
It will continue to operate under the same title, while Andy Heap and David Whittle will continue in their roles as joint managing directors and will be joined on the board by Dave Sewards, chief executive of the group and one of the other hôme founding partners Rich Marson.
For the moment, the agency of 15 people will remain in their existing offices but will join the Hôme group in Roundhay, North Leeds, next year.
Sewards said: “Chilli is a supremely talented and respected brand design consultancy and this move completes the agency’s full complement of specialist services. We knew of them by reputation but on meeting the team we were blown away by the quality of their work and attitude. They’re also great people who will fit in really well at Hôme.”

Chilli seemed to be doing pretty well on their own, why would they want to join an outfit like Home?
I say congratulations and good luck to all involved! Home are a good lot and Mr. Sewards is a bloody nice bloke.
11:31 - Bicker Bicker Bicker - Nice predictable response. My experience was a good one thank you.
The home empire continues to grow. Well done everybody!
