Oui3 Brand Communication has designed packaging for Farne Salmon added value party range to be sold in Waitrose this Christmas. The range, with smoked salmon and prawn as a basis, includes party canapés, terrines and potato rösti.
Derek Ritchie, head of design at Oui3, said: “We had the opportunity to take the traditional Farne range and give it a modern twist, to appeal to the Waitrose customer. In the simplicity of the “Enjoy” brand we wanted to get across the sheer pleasure that food brings the party season, but also the attention Farne Salmon apply to each handmade recipe.”
Roddy Wilde, head of export at the Scottish borders-based smoked salmon facility, commented: “We work in close partnership with Oui3 to create brand packaging for both the Farne brand in the UK and the export market. Our added value range in Waitrose is a development we’re extremely proud of.”

I have to agree with the comment below. The typography needed a bit more thought!
