GRP has launched a campaign for Men who have Sex with Men, a new initiative by Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire MHZ Trusts.
The Glasgow agency was briefed to create a memorable campaign that would get men to stop and think about their sexual health and behaviour. It will appear in gyms, doctors' surgeries and on public transport.
The agency said this presented it with "the unique challenge of translating an often highly sexual image and message for use in the public arena, promoting an overall general awareness".
Titled 'Make your position clear', the work aims to show men that they "can and should be talking to each other about their own and their partner's sexual health, and making their stance clear on using condoms and lube and not risking unprotected sex".

I'm not actually planning on having sex with a man this Christmas, but thanks all the same.
Dull, patronising, and def off target. Next time, hawk the ideas round a few gaybars and get peoples feedback
The jive - man that ones a hard one to pull off.
Nope, sorry, still not gonna have sex with another man, safely or otherwise
Haven't seen that Jive on Strictly and the bloke shopping - he's about to get pineappled!
What a waste of public money.

Didn't you like it first time ? Or are you a one man man ?
Agency to male model "We have a job for you. Interested?"
Anon 14.47 "Didn't you like it first time ? Or are you a one man man ?"
Sure am kid
has anyone noticed the box of 'Fairy' in the shopping trolly?
Couldn't resist could you Mr Guy? Why bother sending in the work if you're going to rise to the comments in such a childish way? Not good.
Childish? No. Matter of fact? Yes. Pot kettle anon 15.13? Read the first sentence of your post.
Is that Steve Coogan in the Jive one? I love these and have sent them to all my male friends 'cos it looks like great fun.
"what worries me most is the look on the poor guy being lifted face, he is scared, he no likey!!!"
This made me laugh, thank you !
If these posters are to appear in gay bars and other similar dives fair enough, but I don't want to see these disgusting trashy images in my haunts.
What a wasted opportunity. These ads are utter tripe.
Position #69 - Shafting the client of good ideas!

Is that because only one hundred percent heterosexual men hang out in your haunts so don't need to be made aware of the issue? You biggotted, narrow minded, cretin.
Do the fleeting glances in Aldi come before or after the naked friend lifting trials
I think if they're using lube there's a very good chance that bloke is going to fall on his backside which will spoil both their evenings.
Let's try being "controversial" to get some attention, sad really.
Let me just pop on my 'Best of Erasure' album and then we can play stick the peg in the hole, happy days
Anon 16.25 As a homosexual you are entitled to your comments on the piece, but throwing personal insults is not what this is about. These images are disgusting and offensive and should never have been published.
Makes me want to get back into advertising.
Surely 'Jive' is the best use of photography award this year.
Well done GRP. Brave work, brave client.
But most of all. Brave models.
In reply to anon 12.24 - wrong on the sexuality bit I'm afraid and I wasn't throwing insults I was stating a fact - there is a difference. And tough, these images have been published and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it so your opinion kind of doesn't really count.
Oh my God- keep it going- I love these comments!
I can't keep it going much longer. My arms are getting tired and you're heavy.
I wonder if the Advertising Standards Council would be happy with images of a hetrosexual couple shagging in a ad' campaign, axle grease or not?
I wonder if the Advertising Standards Council would be happy with images of a hetrosexual couple in 'flagranti dilecti' in an ad' campaign. I cannot recall any previous 'safe sex' campaign with such graphic imagery.
With time to spare before I head off for Xmas you have all made me smile with your comments. From the sublime to the ridiculous, from the offensive to the offended, I thank you all, and remember don't jive at the office party...
