Scottish digital agencies Line and Revolver PR are to work together to offer a range of online PR services which will aim to help business get the most out of their online investments.
The deal sees Line expand its service offering to include digital PR and social media campaigns, while Revolver will also provide PR advice to Line’s London and Edinburgh staff.
Ross Laurie, managing director of Line, explained: "A core part of our growth strategy is to build both the company and its offerings through industry-leading partnerships that help our clients drive profit through digital channels, and Revolver's status as proven experts in digital PR made them the ideal choice for this role.”
Laurie continued to reveal that the agencies have already worked on a number of projects together before agreeing the deal to collaborate going forward.
Iain Bruce, managing director of Revolver, added: “While Line are in the business of producing award-winning digital strategies that create successful online channels for their clients, we're all about generating the cross media awareness required to raise their online profile and deliver the right kind of audiences. Collaborating on past projects has revealed a natural fit between the two companies that made forging a closer partnership the logical choice, and we're very much looking forward to working with them on a number of future initiatives."

That quote from Mr Bruce is pure, unadultarated, marketing-speak flim flam.
Perhaps he had a gun at his head when he made this comment.....and shouldn't that be 'Line is in the business'....nothing like an educated PR........
soundbite tastic! so transparently obvious that he didn't say that at all - he spent an evening writing and editing it!
Note to self: make sure we get the phrase "flim flam" into the next issue of The Drum. Thanks anon 14:15.
@Richard Draycott - my pleasure though I should correct myself - it's flimflam
