A tender has been issued to create a framework agreement to provide advertising services to several Yorkshire Councils.
The framework agreement will see advertising services handled by a supplier for Wakefield Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Doncaster Council, Selby District Council, Harrogate Borough Council and Craven District Council.
The contract will be for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of an extension of another year following review.
The successful applicant will be able to provide media buying, production, creative and design work, provision of advice around media and recruitment topics, advice provision on methods to further improve effectiveness and value for money through advertising, copy writing, provision of management information, brand Management, executive recruitment services and digital advertising services.
Over 2008/09, Wakefield spent £1,422,271 on marketing services while North Yorkshire spent £910,000. £421, 732.80 was spent by Doncaster, while £56,777.76 was spent by Selby, £147,000 by Harrogate and £30,000 by Craven.
The deadline for return of the pre-qualifying questionnaire is 10 February with the contract expected to start on 8 May.
