NHS Knowsley has appointed Finn Communications to advise the organisation on its public relations strategy.

The Leeds agency was appointed following a six-way competitive pitch and will advise NHS Knowsley on corporate, regional and trade PR.

Finn will also handle "a host" of social marketing campaigns.

Richard Rawlins, the agency's managing director, said: "The ability to target hard-to-reach communities through our word-of-mouth discipline has been extremely successful for public sector social marketing campaigns and has allowed us to significantly grow this area of expertise.

"With a dearth of traditional media a highly creative approach is essential in being able to not only target these groups, but to actually change people’s behaviour.”
