The Beatles’ Story has launched a new website, developed by Rippleffect, having refreshed its look and brought its social networking features up to date.

The visitor attraction has been developed by Rippleffect in a bid to allow online visitors to browse the site more easily and reach an international audience.

A video mini-tour has been added as part of the redesign as well as a new content-management system which allows the site to be updated in-house which the content management system will allow for data capture and e-newsletters.

Alec Woolford, technical director at Rippleffect, said: “The Beatles are global icons and the Beatles’ Story is one of Liverpool’s most popular tourist attractions.

“We aimed to build a site which reflects the character of the attraction but at the same time brings it right up to date with social media features."

Woolford added: “Users now have a rich experience, with interactive content, downloadable audio tours, streamlined navigation and an improved online store.”
