National homebuilder Persimmon has moved its digital marketing account for Charles Church to Fuse8 following a six-way competitive pitch, and is set to launch a new website for the house builder brand.
The appointment will see the Leeds-based digital agency also tasked with consultation work on search engine optimisation, social media and the use of mobile technology by the client.
It is understood that incumbent on the six figure account, Brahm, made the final two in the pitch process.
Rob Holden, group IT director at Persimmon, explained why the company chose to review: “We wanted more than just another website. “We sought an agency that could also provide us with direction on our wider digital marketing strategy to maximise the exposure of the Charles Church brand across all digital channels.
“With this in mind we sought a partner that had a thorough understanding of property portals as well as search engines, social networking and mobile technology. fuse8 was able to satisfy all these requirements and, in particular, had successfully exploited natural search engine optimisation with a number of high profile clients.”
The current Charles Church site was designed and developed by Ascot based TC Communications.
