Subway has confirmed to The Drum that following the appointment of Frame to the O’Briens UK account, the two will no longer work together.
Frame continued to work with the sandwich franchise company on a regional level for Scotland having lost the UK marketing account to McCann Erickson in June.
Last week it was announced that the Glasgow-based agency had won the national account for sandwich bar and café franchise O’Briens following a final three-way-pitch.
A spokesperson for Subway, said: “The Subway chain is thrilled that Frame has been appointed by O’Briens and would like to extend its congratulations to the team. Since stopping work with Frame on a national level in July 2009, they have continued to provide excellent creative support to Subway stores on a regional basis. Although we’re sorry to be losing their support, we wish them all the best for the future.”
The spokesperson also said that plans for managing creative in the regions going forward are yet to be confirmed.
Frame originally picked up the Subway account in 2005.

Hurts, doesn't it, Subway? Rather than pining for your return, keeping a lock of your hair under their pillow and becoming tearful at the mention of your name, Frame went out on the pull.
Who did those rubbish walking chilli nonsense commercials where the memorable star of the show was the sandwich surprise that you did not want to see?
