Porter appointed head of production at STV
Porter appointed head of production at STVSTV has appointed Rebecca Porter as head of production where she will oversee and coordinate the production departments across STV Productions and Ginger Productions.
Porter will report to Alan Clements, director of content having joined from Raw Cut Television where she was head of production across programmes such as Disaster Eyewitness for Discovery US and EMEA, Road Wars 7 for Sky One and Police Interceptors for Five.
She has also worked with on Dickens’ Secret Lover for Channel Four, Documentary Hells Angels: the Road to Hell for Five and Living in the Sun for BBC One.
Alan Clements, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Rebecca to STV. We have a huge amount of exciting and innovative productions in development for a range of broadcasters, and Rebecca will bring valuable experience and talent to this brand new role. I look forward to working closely with her going forward.”

What's the betting we see a Scottish Pollis CCTV based series next week? You could edit it for £10, commission it for 100 episodes and run it in prime time on Saturday.
