Destination Staffordshire has appointed Principles Media to handle its media account for 2010.

The organisation is a partnership of local authorities and attractions such as Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and V Festival, which work together to drive tourism into Staffordshire.

Nick Ashworth, media account director at Leeds-based Principles, said: "t is important to engage with customers across those media channels they are using today to search for information on short breaks and tourist attractions.

"For this reason, we are offering the client greater exposure through a combination of press, online display advertising and search and social media.”
